1.Two Rivers WA: a flexible route 

This route, which takes in sections of two of Perth’s main rivers, is one of the classic training rides for roadies in Perth, but it also provides a modular scenic route for those who want to gradually increase their mileage. I had used the Shelley Loop section as a time-trial trainer for years before I actually realised what I was missing and took the time to get out on my cruising bike and enjoy the scenery.

3.The Settlers Trail - Wollombi NSW 

In 1870 a track was built to link the Putty Road with the farming areas of Wollombi in NSW. The track cuts through what is now called the Wollemi National Park, a rugged sandstone wilderness in the southwest corner of the Hunter Valley. Stone embankments and culverts were used to build this now historic trail. On some maps the route is called The Convict Trail yet construction was after the time of the convicts
