A solo bike odyssey has become the inspiration for a campaign for action on climate change. 
Richard's bike slid from under him today as he pitched forward on a downhill, right elbow first, pulling the skin off his shoulder, elbow and knee on the gravel-strewn road. His camera, water bottle and sunglasses slowly rolled towards me before settling in the bright midday sun.
